Mommy Camp: Candy Day

We started with making our own candy houses made from anything found in the pantry. Every time Sisto gave Rafa a piece of candy he just put it in his mouth and not on the house. So Mom ended up making most of his house. Then, we played a game of Candyland. Next, we walked to the library to pick up our movie for tonight. In order to keep them moving to the grocery store, we walked to the candy store nearby. See's gives free samples so we picked up a few pieces for dad. Surprisingly, they had room for lunch still. Afternoon involved snacking on their houses and making muddy buddy snack mix for the big movie night featuring "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". They're watching it now and are loving it. Sisto just said "why is every kid in this movie bad?" 😊

We do other days like train day, car days, garden days, beach themed days...not sure I can back from the success of candy theme day.
