We bid au revoir to our friends yesterday. We were staying in an old family home in the country, near a town called Verteillac. When we arrived in town, there was an annual festival happening. We sampled the pastries and watched traditional dancers perform to music of accordions and guitars. Impossible to believe but finding a pub with a television showing the France World Cup game was nearly impossible. Good thing we are staying in a two bedroom apartment in Bordeaux with cable so we will not miss France v. Germany.
